What happens if I lose something with my Trace Tile attached?
Open Apple Find My or Google Find Hub to see its last reported location on a map. If it's nearby, you can also play a sound to help you find it faster.
Will I get an alert if I leave something behind?
On supported devices, you can enable separation alerts to notify you when you leave your tracked belongings behind. Perfect for avoiding that moment when you realize your keys or bag are still at the restaurant.
Does it work when I'm traveling internationally?
Yes! Trace Tile can use compatible finding networks in supported countries to help locate your belongings while traveling. Location updates depend on nearby participating devices, so you don't need to be physically close to your Tile for it to be found.
Is it waterproof enough for everyday use?
Trace Tile is designed to handle everyday wear, but its exact water-resistance rating needs confirmation. For now, we recommend avoiding prolonged water exposure, especially if it's attached to a pet's collar.
Got two of these, one for my keys and one for my suitcase. Took like a minute to connect to Find My on my iPhone. Such a simple little thing but honestly gives me so much peace of mind when traveling.
